No more home matches for FC Rostov

Fc Rostov have been banned from hosting any home matches until the condition of the pitch is improved.
This news came out after the 1-1 draw against Manchester United in the first leg of the europa league round of 16 match, where the manager Jose Mourinho critized the playing surface.

“It is hard for me to believe we are going to play tomorrow in that field – if you can call it a field. I just had a quick contact with one gentleman from Uefa when I was looking at the pitch and when I told him about my concerns, the gentleman told me the players are insured, so if something happens, no problem.”

Fc Rostov have only played a single home match in the Russian premier league following their winter break (which was a goalless encounter). No further matches will take place at olimp-2 stadium the home of Fc Rostov, until the playing conditions improve.

The second leg against Manchester united takes place on Thursday, 16th March at old Trafford. They go into the second leg tied at 1-1.

Leicester City-The dream continues

Ever since the sacking of Claudio Ranieri Leicester city have certainly seemed like the force they were last season. The new Manager Craig Shakespeare has certainly brought back the charm from the previous year. The players who were responsible for Leicesters dream finish last year had seemed to drop off this season, but they are certainly back at it again. The new Manager has won three out of his three matches in charge, and has also taken Leicester city to the last eight of the UEFA champions league. Even though they are still in the bottom half of premier league, the champions league run seems nothing but a dream, and will do wonders for the club. The sitting back and hitting teams on the counter attack had seemed to work perfectly last season taking them all the way to lifting the premier league tittle,  but the other teams were prepared for it this year. However, Craig Shakespeare has certainly revived the spirits and the tactics and it seems to be working again for them. They overcame Sevilla in the round of 16 champions league match with a 3-2 aggregate victory, and have entered the last eight for the first time in the club’s history.
